The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for daily coordinating, assessing, and monitoring the quality and efficiency of patient care outcomes for all three shifts on each unit. Ensuring compliance of nursing care policies, procedures, systems and processes, as well as managing and supervising unit nursing staff.

This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing and is supported by corporate nursing consultants who offer ongoing training and assistance. We offer a supportive work environment with a stable administration team.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties.

Qualifications include:

• RN degree required; BSN preferred
• Current licensure by North CarolinaBoard of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of nursing experience as an LPN or RN, preferably in long-term care
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long-term care
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.

Alamance Health Care Center has an exciting opportunity for a Unit Manager, LPN/RN in our 180 beds skilled rehab center in Burlington.

The Unit Manager will oversee clinical operations of the unit and is responsible for staff supervision of nurses and CNAs, as well as interfacing with physicians, QI reporting and follow-up, and providing clinical expertise to staff as needed. This unit provides care for our most clinically acute patients and residents. Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties.

Requirements:

•Current license by the North Carolina Board of Nursing to practice as a LPN/RN.
•Minimum three to five years of experience as an LPN/RN, preferably in long term care.
•Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.
•Nursing Management experience preferred.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care to the residents of the health and rehabilitation center, assisting them in activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Those duties include but are not limited to: bathing, dressing, serves and collects food trays, feeds residents, measures and records weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.

Qualifications:

Must have current North Carolina CNA license in good standing.

Alamance Health & Rehabilitation Center in Burlington, NC is seeking qualified individuals to join our growing team as RN / LPN Nurses both day and night shift (12 hours shifts) & Supervisor Potitions with several openings.

What you'll do

• Provide exceptional nursing care to each resident/patient. 
• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs).
• Work with the interdisciplinary team to develop and carry out individualized plans of care.
• Take ownership of the clinical product provided and ensure delivery of exceptional customer service.

What you need

• Active Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Highly organized and detail oriented. 
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Occupational Therapists to develop and implement occupational therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation.
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery.
• Assist in evaluating the effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress.
• Record and document patient care services
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current VA OTA license
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.
• Proven excellent customer service and patient care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude..
